What it includes

What the job covers

  • Overgrown fields and pasture
  • Fence rows and ditch banks
  • Woodlot undergrowth
  • Trails and access lanes
  • Mulch left on the ground
  • Repeat seasonal cuts

When mulching beats clearing

If the goal is a usable field, a walkable woodlot or a fence line you can get equipment down, mulching does it in one pass. Nothing is dug up, so the ground stays firm and there is no hole to fill, no burn pile and no dump runs.

Fields that have got away from you

A field that has not been cut in a few years goes back fast. Brush hogging takes it back to something you can mow, and it is cheaper the sooner it is done.

George comes out, looks at the ground with you and talks through what it actually needs.

A number before work starts

The machine shows up

The equipment arrives when it was said it would, and the work runs start to finish.

Left clean

Ruts knocked down, ground graded, debris gone. The site is finished, not abandoned.

How big a tree can be mulched?

Small standing timber and brush. Anything bigger than the head can handle comes out with the excavator instead — we will tell you which at the estimate.

Will the mulch hurt the field?

No. It breaks down and feeds the ground. On a field going back to pasture it is usually the better finish.
